Our Commitment to Combat Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

At MKSK Consulting, we are dedicated to understanding, identifying, and mitigating the potential risks of modern slavery within our business operations and supply chains. This statement is made in accordance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, outlining the steps we have taken and continue to take to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our organization or partnerships.

// Commitment

Our Commitment to the
Modern Slavery Act 2015

We are fully committed to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the abolition of modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms. As an equal opportunities employer, we are dedicated to fostering a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for all our staff, where everyone feels empowered to report any concerns without fear of reprisal.

Safeguarding Our People and Supply Chain

We have robust recruitment and people management processes to ensure that all employees are legally entitled to work in the UK and are safeguarded against any form of abuse or coercion. We strictly do not engage in business with any organization, in the UK or abroad, that is found to be involved in slavery, servitude, or forced or compulsory labor.

Assessing and Managing Risk

Given the nature of our operations, we assess our business and supply chains as having a low risk of modern slavery. Our procurement is primarily conducted through UK government frameworks and limited to a select group of UK and overseas suppliers.

// Policies Supporting Our Commitment

We uphold a suite of internal policies that reinforce our commitment to ethical employment practices and the elimination of modern slavery.

Code of Conduct
Ethics Policy
Whistleblowing Policy
Bullying and Harassment Policy
Diversity and Inclusion Policy
Recruitment and Selection Policy

These policies are accessible to all staff via our internal intranet, ensuring that our values are consistently applied across the organization.

// Practices

Embedding Anti-Slavery Practices

We continue to embed the principles of the Modern Slavery Act across our business through the following actions:

  • Providing awareness training to all staff on recognizing and reporting modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • Ensuring that employees involved in procurement follow government guidance on ethical procurement practices.
  • Integrating modern slavery risk considerations into our policy reviews and procurement strategies.
  • Embedding zero tolerance of modern slavery and human trafficking into our contract terms and conditions.
  • Conducting ongoing training for staff involved in procurement and recruitment to ensure adherence to ethical employment standards.
// Moving Forward

Strengthening Our Commitment to Ethical Practices
